Part of The Let’s Get it Right team: Thomas (Tom) Farquhar, Bronwyn Tregenza and Nicole Smith (Lead Candidate).

Dear Family, Friends, and Colleagues,

Election day is only a week away on Saturday 14 September!

If you haven’t seen us out and about at the many meet the candidates meetings across the towns and villages, hopefully you have caught a glimpse of one or more of our billboards, a mobile billboard on Thomas’ truck, a digital billboard in Bowral and billboards in the Northern Villages and Robertson.

My mother-in-law Pam visiting from New Zealand this week was incredibly proud to spot this on the streets of Bowral. She even managed to be colour coordinated!

Please donate or volunteer if you can!

It is critically important for our community to elect a majority of competent and suitably experienced individuals to Council. We really need your support to achieve that outcome. It is expensive to run cut through advertising and every dollar helps.

So many people have asked how can they support the LET’S GET IT RIGHT campaign. The reality is that to make a positive difference we need to effectively communicate our message and try to get competent people elected to Council. That costs money! We appreciate any donation to support the campaign. You can easily donate via our website https://letsgetitright.org.au/donate/

We need volunteer support especially at polling booths on polling day so ‘save the date’ of election day which is Saturday 14 September 2024. We need help from volunteers to hand out ‘how to votes’ and scrutineering afterwards. If you can assist with your time please register your interest via the homepage

We are committed to electing what our Southern Highlands community needs and deserves, a majority of people on Council that are by nature active listeners, possess common sense, gather facts and refer to evidence, and seek expert advice on significant issues prior to making informed decisions. We need a majority of Councillors, at least five out of nine, that will serve the best interests of the community and preserve the unique character of the Shire.

I am exceptionally proud to be leading our independent LET’S GET IT RIGHT ticket and I want to see multiple candidates elected.

This is our first opportunity in 8 years to elect representatives to Council. LET’S GET IT RIGHT – IT’S TOO IMPORTANT NOT TO.

Kind regards

Nicole Smith
Lead Candidate
